i have had all positive experiences at CA whether it is for an anniversary gift of pearl earrings or an awesome diamond necklace. I was not the easiest customer as i was undecided on what to choose for my anniversary gift but Karen was very patient and knowledgable and most helpful. i got a great value for my money.

After visiting several of the larger, more commercial jewelry stores, I went back to a store i had shopped at before - Charleston Alexander! As a few years ago, was graciously & warmly greeted though I was dressed in my yoga outfit. I did NOT look like a million bucks but was treated like a movie star. I asked for Benita. Fortunately for me she wad still with them! I told her I was looking for a special 50th birthday gift for my sister. She patiently tried to get me to paint a picture of my sister. Armed with this knowledge, Benita showed me several gorgeous pieces that were unique & within my price range! She took time with me & taught me much about diamond quality. I still highly recommend Charleston Alexander AND Benita! She will make you feel special & respected. And you will leave with a unique gift to be cherished forever!

My fiance and I started looking at rings last year, we went to two other retailers first, one of which was entirely too pushy, and condescending...
Then we met Cristi at CA. She and the rest of the staff have been nothing but wonderful to us. They let us look at all sorts of settings, carefully explaining details and characteristics... and were never pushy. We never received harassing phone calls after our visit, like someone else mentioned. And we paid what we wanted to pay, and got more than we expected.
They let me pick out settings and stones, and when I called to ask more questions, after my fiance already purchased my ring, she never blew the surprise!
One day my fiance's credit card was stolen, we were supposed to buy our bands from CA, and they were very accommodating when we explained what had happened that day. They let us make comfortable arrangements for purchasing our rings.
They are always pleasant, my Sabet ring has never had any issues with stones falling out, I can't say enough good things about our working with them. We recommend them to all our friends.

During my search for the perfect diamond engagement ring, Charleston Alexander was head and shoulders above the rest. Connie was fantastic! She showed me the best quality stones and never tried to push me out of my price range. In fact, she was the only jeweler of many I visited that encouraged me to check out other places, with the full confidence that at the end of the day, she would have the best quality and value. I will use CA of Bethesda for our wedding bands and all of our future jewelery needs.

I went to Charleston Alexander Bethesda for my wife's anniversary present. We have been married for 30 years and I was in the market for something special. I knew it was going to be a big purchase so I spent a great deal of time shopping around but I would have saved myself the trouble had I gone there first. They are the best! The saleswoman, Connie, has been married for 31 years and had some great suggestions, having just had her own anniversary. I decided on a necklace, so one of the other saleswoman was great and tried everything on so I could see how it would look. They were so accommodating and before I knew it, I had been in the store for over an hour just enjoying myself and having great conversation with everyone while I shopped. I am not a man prone to everyday chit-chat so the overall positive experience of going in the store really made an impression.
Ultimately, my wife about fell out of her chair at dinner when I gave her the necklace and I am a new Charleston Alexander customer for life.

Charleston Alexander Bethesda is such a nice place to shop for engagement rings and their service was amazing. I have been with my boyfriend for two years and we are talking about getting engaged soon, so I wanted to get an idea for what I'm looking for. I went to the Bethesda store with my girlfriend on a Saturday when they were busy but Karen sat down with us and gave us her full attention, even though we weren't going to buy anything that day. (Other stores we went in completely ignored us.) She was great! She was so informative and she helped me try anything and everything on until I narrowed my selection to about three--a number my boyfriend can handle without getting totally overwhelmed. She wrote everything down for me and I will be sure to send him there to see her when he's ready. Any store that will ignore me when I'm looking certainly doesn't deserve his business when he's ready to buy. Charleston Alexander in Bethesda is definitely the way to go.

I went to the Bethesda Charleston Alexander with my grandmother's diamond and wanted to set it in a new setting. The saleswoman was so helpful because they have a ton of options--which is great but I needed some guidance. She couldn't have been nicer and they clearly don't work on commission, or at least that's not their main focus because I already had my diamond and knew my purchase was only going to be a couple thousand. That didn't matter to her though, she took her time with me and we actually ended up doing a custom platinum and diamond setting that looks amazing! Their service is great too, my now fiance can come in and get it cleaned anytime for free and if anything happens in the future, they will cover everything but the diamond--obviously, given they aren't my insurance agency--free of charge. I went to Charleston Alenxander after finding out that the wedding band I was going to use to get married in had been stolen. Because we had matching rings made, we were left with the memory of his wedding band and wanted to do something totally different. Connie at Charleston Alexander made everything so much better. She was extremely nice and so accomodating. We decided to use the old wedding band we had left to make a new wedding band for my husband to be and bought a new band for me. I ABSOUTELY LOVE OUR NEW WEDDING BANDS. Connie really went above and beyond and I will always to go her when I have to buy a piece of jewlery. She truly was amazing. Thanks Connie!
